Happy New Year! Considering I am fairly new to the WordPress world, I find it necessary to make a New Year’s Resolution for my blog. After posting everyday for the 25 Days of Baking, I have come to the conclusion that it is rather difficult. Sure I can bake everyday… I can photograph everyday… I can blog everyday… but all three? I do have a life, guys. So how often should I post to my blog? Cue the 2014 resolution.
I admit that I was mulling over the idea of whether or not to make a resolution. The only thing stopping me was fear of not keeping it, but I am not one to let fear keep me from attaining a goal. In order to succeed with any resolution, it must be planned, attainable, and, most importantly, something you want. With that said, I am pleased to announce that I have created the following blogging goals. This year I intend to…
- Post recipes at least three times a week. This will vary from cookies and cupcakes to chicken dinners and party appetizers. As always, my life stories and
attempts atwitty comments will be included.
- Include health conscious recipes. As much as I love baking delightful desserts, it is important to be aware of your health. As Julia Child once said, “Everything in moderation, including moderation.”
- Bake a “boozy” dessert at least once a month. My boozy cupcakes have caught the attention of many so I figure why not continue experimenting with alcohol in my desserts?
Well, I have posted this to the world wide web so I suppose I must stick with it. Best of luck to everyone with their New Year’s resolutions!
