It’s here. February 14th. For all you single ladies who are dreading this day, I am here to make it better. I have combined two of our favorite things, chocolate and wine, into one decadent dessert–chocolate red wine cupcakes. Valentine’s Day is looking a little better now, isn’t it?
Ladies, uncork that bottle of wine and open the box of chocolates, you are baking cupcakes. Velvety smooth and rich with chocolate flavor, these cupcakes are dangerously good. They are topped with a classic buttercream frosting flavored with red wine. When you take a bite out of one, you will forget what day it is. All you will be thinking about is the chocolate goodness hitting your tastebuds and the inevitable sip of wine to wash it all down.
Now before all the wine and cupcakes are gone, plan a ladies’ night with your girlfriends and prove to them that these cupcakes are the best thing that ever happened to Valentine’s Day. Here’s some Beyonce to get you in the mood. You can thank me later.
Note: If the wine mysteriously disappears, it obviously went into the cupcakes. No one needs to know that the recipe only calls for half a cup.
