Christmas has come and gone and 2015 is right around the corner. Usually when I look back on the year there isn’t anything too monumental, but 2014 was a pretty big year for me. I landed my first “big girl” job in New York City and moved into my first apartment. I think that deserves a bit of celebrating and what better way to do so than with some cocktail cupcakes?
Since I started my blog in October of 2014, I have posted eight cocktail cupcakes, each of which have been quite popular (especially the Fireball ones). To ring in 2015 I decided on festive champagne cupcakes. I used my vanilla cupcake recipe as the base and added champagne to both the batter and the buttercream frosting for an extra kick.
