Hello friends! I’m starting a new segment on my blog called monthly music and I’m really excited about it. This has been a feature I’ve wanted to do on my blog for a while and I’m finally getting to it!
Music plays a vital role in the kitchen for me. Baking without music is equivalent to baking without butter—it’s just not as good.
Every few weeks my sister, Taylor, and I will share some themed playlists. (Side note: Taylor is the music queenand introduces me to the coolest artists.) However, my go-to Blog Beats playlist will constantly be updated with the latest music I’m listening to.
Do Ya Thing
My sister, Taylor, created this playlist and describes it as, “Contagious vibes with a shot of endorphins. A neat hour long to carry you through a feel-good work sesh, kitchen jam, or workout grind.” Ya hooked yet?
Blog Beats Playlist
This playlist gives a solid taste of what music I like. You’ll see a blend of genres that seamlessly transition as you listen to one song after the next. If you’re on Spotify, give this playlist a follow as I will be updating it regularly!
Feel Good Oldies Playlist
This playlist is very much inspired by my mother’s taste in music, which is fitting considering she sparked my interest in baking at a young age. On this playlist you will find a lot of feel good throwback tunes from the 60’s and 70’s. Think Marvin Gaye, Sly & The Family Stone, The Doobie Brothers, Otis Redding and Steely Dan, just to name a few.
