Apple Cinnamon Scones

Baked apple cinnamon scones with a spiced glaze are perfect for fall! They're quick and easy to make from scratch with fresh apples and lots of cinnamon spice.

Pro Tip: Gather ingredients before getting started!

Add flour, sugar, cinnamon, allspice, baking powder, and salt to a bowl.

Whisk to combine. Set the bowl aside.

Shred the cold butter and whisk into the dry ingredients.

Mix heavy cream and egg, and add to the bowl.

The add the freshly shredded apple.

Stir just until combined.

Form the dough into a ball.

Press the dough into a flat disc, and cut into 8 equal triangles.

Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Place the baking sheet with scones in the refrigerator

Preheat the oven to 400°.

Bake the scones for 20 to 22 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

Whisk together the icing, and drizzle over the cooled scones.
