Baked Chocolate Donuts

These baked chocolate donuts have a cake-like texture and a smooth chocolate glaze. They are ready to enjoy in under 30 minutes!

Pro Tip: Save yourself  time by gathering all ingredients before getting started.

Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt and espresso powder.

In another bowl, beat together the egg and sugar until fluffy.

Then mix in milk, yogurt, melted butter and vanilla.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.

Stir well to make the batter.

Transfer batter to a prepared donut pan.

Bake in a preheated 350 F oven for 8 to 10 minutes.

Cool donuts in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.

Meanwhile, make the glaze: Microwave chocolate, heavy cream and butter in a bowl. Rest, and stir until smooth.

Dip the top of each donut in the glaze and place back on the wire rack.

Garnish donuts with chocolate shavings or pipe with more chocolate ganache.
