INGREDIENTS
– Unsalted butter
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Granulated sugar
- Salt
– Eggs
– Pure vanilla extract
- All-purpose flour
- Light brown sugar
– Light corn syrup
– Ground cinnamon
– Bourbon
– Pecans

1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and grease it lightly.
Melt butter in a double boiler. Add cocoa, sugar and salt.

2. Mix until a batter forms.

3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and vanilla until combined. Pour the egg mixture into the batter.

4. Mix until well combined.

5. Stir flour into the batter mixture until smooth. Do not over mix.

6. Pour batter into the prepped baking dish and bake for 20 minutes. Once done leave to cool.

7. Use an electric mixer to beat corn syrup and sugar until the mixture is smooth.

8. Add eggs and vanilla extract then beat again until smooth.

9. Next, add melted butter and bourbon. Mix again.

10. Once the mixture is well combined fold in chopped pecans. Then, pour the mixture on top of the brownies.

11. Bake again for 30 to 35 minutes or until the pecan topping has set.
Leave to cool then refrigerate for 2 hours.
