Easy Vanilla Sheet Cake

Vanilla sheet cake is the perfect cake to serve for any occasion. The tender, moist cake is topped with a luscious buttercream frosting.

Gather ingredients and line or grease a 9x13 cake pan.

Preheat oven to 350° degrees F.

Whisk together the dry ingredients and set aside.

In another bowl beat together butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add in the eggs one at a time.

Then mix in oil, sour cream, and vanilla

Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the bowl.

Mix the batter just until combined.

Bake the cake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Transfer batter to the prepared pan.

Then make the buttercream frosting.

Allow the cake to cool completely.

Frost the cooled cake and decorate with colorful sprinkles.

Slice and serve!
