Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce

Homemade hot fudge sauce is the perfect topping for ice cream. It is simple to make from scratch and ready in less than 15 minutes.

Add heavy cream, butter, both sugars, and salt to a medium saucepan.

Heat the ingredients over medium heat and bring to a simmer for 1 minute.

Add chopped chocolate and stir until melted.

Whisk in cocoa powder until no clumps remain.

Return the saucepan to low heat and constantly whisk until the mixture is smooth and glossy.

Whisk in the vanilla.

Remove from heat and transfer to a serving jar or storage container.

Serve warm on top of ice cream or any treats!
