Easy Chocolate Chip Scones

These chocolate chip scones are quick and easy to make from scratch. They're soft scones packed with chocolate chips without being overly sweet!

Whisk together dry ingredients.

Grate cold butter and add to dry ingredients.

Mix cream, egg and vanilla together in a separate bowl.

Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.

Stir together, then add chocolate chips.

Form dough into a loose ball.

Transfer dough to a floured surface.

Flaten dough into a disc, and cut into 8 triangles.

Brush scones with heavy cream and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for 20 minutes at 400° F. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
