Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream

This homemade strawberry ice cream is flavored with fresh strawberries. The churned ice cream is smooth and creamy!

Gather all the ingredients before getting started to save some time.

Toss chopped strawberries with sugar and let them sit for 20 minutes.

Heat some of the cream and remaining sugar in a sauce pot.

Whisk in vanilla, remove from heat and add remaining cream and milk.

Let the mixture cool, and then pour over the strawberries.

Place bowl in the fridge to chill.

Pour mixture into your ice cream maker and churn.

Transfer finished ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
