Mini Cadburry Egg Cake

This triple layer vanilla cake features a rich buttercream frosting and is decorated with mini Cadbury eggs.

Save Time: Gather all ingredients before getting started!

You'll need ingredients for the vanilla cake...

...And ingredients for the buttercream frosting with mini eggs.

Preheat oven to 350° and grease three 6" round cake pans.

In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Beat together the brown sugar and butter in a large bowl.

Add eggs one at a time.

Beat in sour cream, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add in flour and milk in 3 parts.

Evenly distribute the batter between the three cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

When the cakes are done and cooling, make the frosting.

In a large bowl, whip the butter until fluffy.

With the mixer on low speed, gradually add confectioners' sugar.

With the mixer on medium speed, add vanilla, salt, and milk.

Beat until fluffy!

Let's assemble! Place one cooled cake on a platter, and evenly spread a scoop of frosting on top.

Top with another cake, and repeat.

Cover the outside of the cake with frosting.

Garnish with mini Cadbury eggs.

Slice and serve!
