Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside. In a food processor, crush the pretzels. In a mixer, mix the crumbs with butter, peanut butter, and sugar. Transfer to the pan.
Next, melt the chocolate in the microwave with shortening until smooth. Pour over the pretzel crust.
Place the mini pretzels over the chocolate later. Place the pretzels in the refrigerator for one hour to set.
Once set, remove the bars from the pan.
Cut and serve the pretzel bars. Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week.
