Peanut butter popsicles are made with five ingredients—peanut butter, banana, yogurt, maple syrup and chocolate. Dip them in chocolate and sprinkle with peanuts for extra flavor!
1 ½cups(340 g or 12 ounces) unsweetened. plain yogurt
½cup(125 g) creamy peanut butter
2large ripe bananas
2tablespoonspure maple syrup
1cup(340 g or 12 ounces) Magic chocolate shell (or chocolate syrup)
Crushed peanuts, optional
Instructions
In the container of a blender, add the yogurt, peanut butter, banana and maple syrup. Blend until smooth, about 90 seconds.
Pour mixture into popsicle mold until almost full. Leave about 1/2-inch of room at the top for popsicles to expand when frozen. Insert wooden popsicle sticks and place popsicle mold in the freezer for 24 hours.
Pour chocolate shell or syrup in a tall glass that is wide enough to dip the popsicles in. Have crushed peanuts handy if you choose to use them. Time to work quickly!
Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper. Remove popsicles from mold and place on prepared baking sheet. You may have to run mold under warm water to help loosen the popsicles from the mold.
Dip the popsicles in the mold and allow any excess chocolate to drip off. Place the popsicle back on the prepared sheet and immediately sprinkle with peanuts if desired. Repeat with remaining popsicles.
Return popsicles to the freezer for 20 more minutes to set. Enjoy!
Notes
If you choose to make these popsicles for your dog, do not dip them in chocolate. Consult your pet's veterinarian regarding possible allergies your dog may have.
If well wrapped, popsicles will keep in the freezer for up to 4 weeks.
